POLITICAL THOUGHT Who can take this course: Seniors Length of course: One Semester  Guiding Philosophy/Purpose:  To acquaint students with political thought and literature  Topics Covered:  Just war, social responsibility, Japanese Internment, Individual Rights, Conspiracy and Scandal, juvenile justice. Benefits of taking Political Thought:  It allows English and Social Studies to explain current events and relate it directly to writing.  Students develop political thought and it’s literature.
